My story
Hi! I’m Julie. I’m a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor helping busy women reduce the frequency and severity of their migraine episodes by addressing the root cause through natural methods so they can end their reliance on medication, stop experimenting with other partial or temporary solutions, so they can get back to enjoying life again.
As I’ve learned throughout my own 25-year migraine journey, getting control over episodes is not just about meds and triggers. Rather, it's about raising our resilience and our migraine threshold by addressing the root cause – the chronic nutrient deficits and systemic dysregulation that we know plays a role in migraine.
This is how we get sustainable results…meaning we get to swap the pain and other awful symptoms, for more energy, achievements, and fun.

Only someone who experiences migraines truly understands what it’s like, and I did for over 20 years – head pain, nausea, fatigue, and light sensitivity included.
>> I know how much it sucks to miss important celebrations, or to have to ‘suck it up’ and struggle through them (heck, I woke up with a migraine on my wedding day!).
>> I know how terrible it feels to have to ‘shoo’ your kids out of the room when all they want to do is play with you.
>> I know the guilt of feeling like you’re letting your colleagues down when you miss deadlines or deliver sub-par work.
>> And I know the anxiety that comes with not knowing when the next migraine will rear its ugly head.
I used to rely on medication, which helped, but I didn’t like how it made me feel. I was worried about the effects of taking so many meds for years on end, and I knew it was just masking symptoms and doing nothing to actually prevent migraine episodes.
I saw how my mom’s migraines worsened over the years, and how she started to need more medication to get the same results.
I tried all the “alternative” things, including chiropractor, massage, acupuncture, supplements, teas, and tinctures – which helped a bit, but not enough...
All of this inspired me to search for something different...Something better.
And it was the best decision I could have made, because not only was I able to practically eliminate my own migraine episodes, but I’m now able to help others to do the same inside of the The Migraine Resilience Method.
It’s a Method I created after seeing the gaps in care for those with migraine, and in light of what I ended up needing and doing to achieve what I did in my own situation. It’s essentially what I wish I had back when I was struggling, as it would have made it a quicker and more enjoyable process.
I firmly believe that, while there is no cure for migraine disease, no one should have to suffer from migraine EPISODES (aka “migraines”).
